Tampa Bay Beer Week is coming!

Tampa Bay Beer Week to be held March 2nd – 10th

Tampa Bay, FL – January 8, 2013 – Following the success of the inaugural Tampa Bay Beer Week in 2012, the event has been scheduled for 2013 to run for 9 days beginning March 2nd and running through March 10th. Tampa Bay Beer Week is a series of events supported by local brewers, distributors, and vendors during the first week of March to celebrate both local and imported craft beers available in the Tampa Bay area.

Mission Celebrate Tampa Bay beer culture and showcase the area as an emerging and vibrant craft and specialty beer destination.

Description Beer in Tampa Bay is something to celebrate. With the continued opening of new breweries, along with the success of our established ones, the Tampa Bay area is enjoying an ongoing renaissance in craft beer. In recognition of this, your local breweries, distributors, and vendors have collaborated to showcase the beers that make all corners of the Tampa Bay Area the beer destination of Florida.

The Board of Directors of Tampa Bay Beer Week is now putting together a list of Beer Week events around the Bay Area. We encourage all local breweries, distributors, venues, restaurants, clubs, bars, and so on to submit your special events to the Tampa Bay Beer Week events website (www.tbbwevents.com) to be included in our ever-growing calendar. Last year we saw enormous enthusiasm for all of the events, from beer-pairing dinners and special releases to art and beer shows and food truck rallies at local breweries, so get creative! The official kick-off will be the Florida Brewer’s Guild Festival on the 2nd. Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn will be in attendance to tap the first firkin. We will continue to update everyone as events are added and things come together.
