The frenzy around Tampa Bay Beer Week is building, and as people make their plans to expand their craft beer horizons, there is something to help out! The first-ever Tampa Bay Beer Week Passport is available for purchase around the Bay Area, and is chock-full of discounts, deals, and special offers from our favorite breweries, as well as drinking and eating establishments.
Also included are tasting guidelines, and some useful tips for your craft beer exploration. Details will be released within the next day or two on where you can get them, but they will be absolutely worth the cost. Keep checking the Beer Week Facebook page for details.

The event list continues to grow, with roughly 250 different amazing options for the beer lovers of Tampa Bay… Here are a couple more I discovered that are worth looking into!
Tuesday, March 4
Cheers to Belgian Beers at the Independent in Tampa. Last year I rediscovered my love of Belgian brews and the rich history they bring. Sample some of the best beers in the world, talk with brewery representatives and importers, and learn about the styles and heritage.
Wednesday, March 5
Travel from Saint Somewhere at Mr. Dunderbak’s in Tampa. Join Saint Bob Sylvester for more Belgian tastings and some pictures and tales from his trips overseas. With beers from Cantillon, De Stuise, Thiriez, Cazeau, Straffe Hendrik (and of course Saint Somewhere), you will get to try some truly classic styles, and pair them with some authentic Belgian cuisine.
Thursday, March 6
Night of Wood at Tampa Bay Brewing Company. Billed as “An arousing night of extremely rare Barrel Aged Beers,” this lineup looks impressively dangerous. TBBC will unveil 8 extremely rare and special beers, and a whole list of other madness of the barrel variety.
Friday, March 7
Blackout Party at the Independent, Tampa. Didn’t get enough darkness and smoke at Stogies & Stouts last weekend? Head over to Seminole Heights and sample some rare black beers and puff on some fine cigars.
Sunday, March 9
Brewer’s Brunch at Southern Brewing & Winemaking. Mead mimosa’s and a waffle bar?! Yes please! Wrap up your beer week with a beautiful brunch in the outdoor biergarten and sip on the house-made mead and cider mimosas while you stuff yourself with waffles. This is a family friendly event, and kids (and designated drivers) have a discounted price!
Whew! So many choices! So much awesomeness! What will YOU do, beer lovers?! Check out the full list of Beer Week events here.
Cheers!
