Upcoming Event: Dunedin Brewery Stogies & Stout
One of the best beer events in Tampa Bay is coming up again: Stogies & Stout at Dunedin Brewery. Every year, on the last Saturday of February, 
Dunedin hosts an amazing gathering of some of the best of the dark. From special stouts and porters by local breweries to limited releases of some of the best beers in the country, the list of what is being poured is ridiculous every time. 2013 looks to be no different.
A few notable (and by notable I mean MY favorite) brews mentioned so far:
- Dunedin Brewing Cookies n’ Croon (on cask)
- Terrapin Liquid Bliss (Peanut Butter Chocolate Stout)
- 7venth Sun Four Roses Bourbon Barrel Stay Fly
- Stone Brewing Imperial Russian Stout (2010, 2011, and 2012)
- Ft. George Bourbon Barrel-aged Cavatica Stout
- Green Room Count Shakula
And that’s just a small sample of what all will be there…
In addition, there will be live music by The Main Squeeze, premium cigars, and some great food. This year will be a little different in that food will NOT be available for purchase at the event, but only as part of a pre-bought ticket (for an additional $10).
$35 includes a commemorative glass, choice of cigar, and a generous sampling of all available Stouts.
$45 includes everything above, as well as a food plate.
Here is a word of caution: DO NOT WAIT TO PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS. This event will – and always does – sell out. And once it does, you will not 
get in without a ticket. So go here and buy them now. The great thing about this is that means it will not be overcrowded, you will not be waiting for 30 minutes to get a sample of beer, and you will be able to have deep, meaningful, beer-related conversation with all of your new-found friends.
Last year was awesome, as was the year before that. I do not expect anything less for this year.
