But wait… there’s more…

Okay, usually I try not to do more than one post a day.  It gets messy and the earlier post get s pushed down tot he bottom…  But a couple important things have come up that I wanted to address ASAP.

First off, some not-good news.  Apparently some jack-waffle in Pinellas Park snuck into our beloved Cajun Cafe on the Bayou last night and stole all of their aluminum signs from the deck and patio areas.  Folks, this is terrorism!  These were signs that Paul and Rebecca have collected over the years, and by and large they are BEER signs!  CRAFT BEER SIGNS!!!  STOLEN!!!  Luckily, the cafe has a video surveillance system, and the thief was caught in the act!  If you or anyone you know can help identify the perpetrator, please contact Paul or Rebecca at the Cajun Cafe.

On a happier note, the details for Cigar City Brewing’s March 10th Hunahpu’s Day have been released!  This is a do-not-miss event.  Last year was amazing, and the tap list was truly out of this world.  I like some of the changes they have made for this year: multiple stations for bottle pick up, expanding the outside area, shuttle service from off-site parking, and Cuban coffee and bread in the morning!  Dislike: limit of 3 bottle, down one from last year.  Oh well.  Small price to pay for a phenomenal event.  CCB will release more info as they get it, guest beers, etc.  Stay tuned!

If you are free tonight – and near Largo – you should swing by another new addition to the Florida craft beer scene: Barley Mow Brewing.  Tonight is “Local Brewery Night”, and they will be serving up an assortment of beers from The Dunedin Brewery including a cask of Dry-Hopped Dropkick Murphy’s Erin Red Ale! There will be raffles and brewery reps on site as well.

Cheers!
